ACRN Sprout
Finding housing on your own is hard. It’s even harder if you are in recovery or have a history of incarceration. Sprout is here to help.
Sprout works to match you with roommates or Growth Partner(s) based on your specific background and preferences.
Once you are matched, Sprout connects you and your Growth Partner(s) with certified Peer Support Specialists (PSS). These PSS will be selected to have similar lived experience as the Growth Partners they serve. This will be your Growth Team.
Sprout works to identify high quality landlords with rental spaces in and around Rutherford County. ACRN will help to connect Growth Teams to spaces that will be healthy and supportive of the recovery or reentry process.
Let us help you plant new roots!

Terms of the ACRN Housing Support Program:
ACRN’s Role: I understand that ACRN does not own, manage, or lease any housing. ACRN helps me connect with a roommate and a landlord but is not responsible for my housing arrangement.
Lease Responsibility: I am fully responsible for my lease agreement, rent payments, and following my landlord’s rules. ACRN is not liable for any issues between me and my landlord.
Peer Support Engagement: I agree to regular check-ins with an ACRN peer support specialist [frequency, e.g., biweekly]. These check-ins are for support purposes and do not replace professional medical or legal advice.
Relapse & Crisis Plan: If I experience a relapse or crisis, I agree to notify my peer support specialist. ACRN will assist with referrals but is not responsible for ensuring my continued housing.
Confidentiality & Data Use: ACRN will keep my personal information confidential but may share necessary details with landlords or peer support teams for program purposes.
Program Termination: ACRN reserves the right to discontinue services if I fail to engage in recovery support or violate program expectations.

Disclaimer on Peer Support Services
The Allied Comprehensive Recovery Network (ACRN) connects participants in its housing support program with independent peer support specialists as part of its commitment to promote recovery and housing stability. These peer support specialists are independent contractors or volunteers and are not employees, agents, or representatives of ACRN.
ACRN does not supervise, direct, or control the daily activities or personal conduct of any peer support specialist. As such, ACRN is not responsible for the actions, advice, opinions, or conduct of any peer support specialist participating in the program.
All peer support services are intended to provide non-clinical, recovery-oriented support and do not constitute medical, psychological, legal, or crisis intervention services. Peer support specialists do not provide treatment or clinical diagnoses, and participants should not rely on them for emergency care.
If a participant experiences a crisis or medical emergency, they are instructed to contact 911 or their licensed treatment provider.
By participating in the housing support program, all parties acknowledge and agree that ACRN assumes no liability for any injury, loss, dispute, or harm arising from the use of peer support services provided by independent peer support specialists.
Landlord
Non-Liability Clause: ACRN does not act as a property manager, landlord, or financial guarantor. The lease agreement remains solely between the landlord and tenant(s).
Tenant Screening: ACRN helps match individuals in recovery with suitable roommates but does not guarantee tenant behavior or financial responsibility. Landlords may conduct their own screenings.
Peer Support & Oversight: ACRN facilitates regular peer support check-ins for tenants engaged in the program, which may help with stability and accountability. However, ACRN does not enforce lease terms or house rules.
Return to Use & Crisis Plan: If a tenant has a return to use or becomes non-compliant with their lease, ACRN will assist with referrals or mediation if requested, but the landlord retains full eviction rights.
Confidentiality & Communication: ACRN may provide general updates on a tenant’s engagement with the program but will not disclose personal medical or recovery details without consent.
